Lewis Steven Mmbando
Running for Counselor in the local city ward (Diwani) in the Gongo la Mboto Area in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania towards 2015 presidential elections.
A Brief Academic Description
Lewis S. Mmbando holds a Degree in Economics of Development and a Diploma in Economics and Development awarded by the Mwalimu Nyerere Memorial Academy
Lewis finished Minazi Mirefu Primary School in 1999. He continued his O-levels at Air Wing Secondary School finishing in 2003 and continued his A-level studies at Hilton High School until 2005.
He continued his higher studies from 2007 to 2009 where he was awarded with a diploma, then till 2014 when he received his first degree.
Lewis is a social worker, an economist, as well as an artist. He works with Restless Development and has worked in the past with Pamoja Interculture Exchange between Germany and Tanzania.
Lewis also works with USCUTA 2000 Studio.
In an interview, when he was asked why he chose this journey of politics, Lewis answered:
"I had a dream, to bring chance to my society, to be better in economical development; to bring fraternity to the society."
